Choose from our traditional Barn which seats up to 150 or for smaller groups, the Old Dairy; a compact, light space with a log burner for winter months and a private outdoor courtyard for warmer months. The pristine grounds provide numerous opportunities for outdoor activities and social team building exercises. Whatever the weather, our diverse venue means we’ve got you covered, offering a variety spaces which can be tailored to your needs. Or make the most of what Gate Street has to offer and hire the entire venue exclusively for your event.

The team at Gate Street are there to answer every question and no request is too much trouble. We have held events in both the Old Dairy and Pheasantry and our guests have commented many times about the beautiful settings and venue. The Old Dairy is a wonderful space for small groups – cosy, comfortable and perfect for our coaching workshop. The Phesantry held our 20 guests with plenty to spare for break out sessions… and we were treated to the glorious view of fields and prancing calves!

We were looking for something that ticked a lot of boxes for the Woman & Home Fashion and Beauty Christmas shoot and stumbled upon Gate Street. The setting was ideal with plenty of space to accommodate two separate crews without anyone treading on anyone's toes. There's a wide range of different backdrops from the cosy Old Dairy room to the natural Pheasantry, perfect for creating different looks and varied shots. Although the weather wasn't always on our side, the landscaped gardens provided ample photo opportunities too. The Barn allowed us to store plenty of props (at least five Christmas trees!) and there was a spacious dressing room for the hair and makeup team and models. As the shoot was set to take over two days, we were able to stay in the accommodation on site which made it easier to get started the following day
