Couples Wine Tasting

Join us for our Couples Wine Tasting in partnership with Ellis Wines. If you are one of our lovely booked couples, this event has been created exclusively for you, to give you the opportunity to sample our Bespoke Drinks Packages and be guided by our expert to select your dream wine and fizz choices for your big day.
Choosing the right wine for your wedding can feel like a high pressure decision, but we’re here to take any stress away and ensure the process is one of enjoyment and ease. We invite you to join us at The Barn where you will be seated for your group tasting. The aim of this event is to enable you to make sense of your wine and food pairings and for you to leave with a truly unique wine package that’s tailored to your preferences.
Whether you’re at the beginning of your wine selection process or you already have a vision in mind, this event will cater to where you are in your journey. We’re here to support you at every step of the way.
Please note, we will also provide a range of delicious snacks and nibbles throughout the evening to accompany your wine sampling.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
The session will be led by the wonderful Charlie from family-run wine specialist Ellis Wines. They have an impressive 200 year history and are passionate about sourcing wines that are distinctive and unique.
You will sample 15 wines (of all types and colours), which have been selected because of their quality and point of difference.
This intimate event has been purposely designed for just 50 of our couples to give you the opportunity to have one-to-one time with Charlie and all of your questions personally answered by an expert.
FACILITIES
Parking is free and at the main entrance or for those wanting to park overnight, you can park in our overflow car park located opposite the venue main entrance.
Please bear in mind that due to our rural location, Uber and similar booking-apps do not work. Therefore please pre-book your taxis via one of our recommended companies: Waverley Cars (01483 385858), GM Cars (01483 566 566) or Five & Sixes (01483 565 656).
There is a wheelchair lift that can be used to access toilets and to help navigate the areas inside with ease.
